Your Questions, Answered

  • Reiki is a gentle, energy-based practice that supports relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. It works with the body’s natural life force energy to help release stress, clear energetic blockages, and promote a deeper sense of calm and alignment.

During a Reiki session, you will remain fully clothed and lying comfortably on a massage table. Reiki can be offered with light, non-invasive touch or with the hands held just above the body, depending on your comfort level. Your comfort and boundaries are always respected, and you are welcome to communicate any preferences before or during your session.

Many people find Reiki deeply calming, grounding, and restorative, though each experience is unique.

  • There is no special preparation required for a Reiki session—simply come as you are. Wear comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and, if possible, avoid rushing so you can arrive feeling relaxed. Before your session, you may want to take a few moments to think about any intentions, questions, or areas of your life you'd like to focus on, but this is completely optional.

During your session, you'll remain fully clothed while lying comfortably on a massage table. Your only job is to relax, breathe, and allow yourself to receive. Every Reiki experience is unique, and there is no "right" way to feel during or after your session.

  • Reiki and transformational coaching can support you in a variety of ways, especially when you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for change but unsure where to start.

Clients often come in for support with things like stress, emotional heaviness, life transitions, self-doubt, clarity around next steps, or feeling more aligned with themselves and their direction in life.

Each session is personalized to where you are, so we focus on what feels most important and supportive for you in the moment.

  • Transformational coaching is focused on helping you gain clarity, identify goals, shift limiting beliefs, and take aligned action toward the life you want to create. It is future-focused and action-oriented, designed to support personal growth, mindset shifts, and meaningful change.

Therapy, on the other hand, is a clinical process led by a licensed mental health professional that focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, processing trauma, and working through emotional or psychological challenges.

While coaching can be deeply supportive and transformative, it is not a substitute for therapy or mental health care. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but it can be a powerful complement to therapeutic work or a supportive space for personal development.

  • Your first session is a calm, supportive space where we focus on what’s most present for you. We’ll begin with a brief check-in to talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’d like support with.

From there, your session will flow based on the service you’ve booked—either coaching, Reiki, or a combination of both. There is no pressure to have everything figured out ahead of time. You simply show up as you are, and we work together from there.

My intention is for you to leave feeling more grounded, clear, and supported than when you arrived.

  • The number of sessions varies from person to person depending on your goals, what you’re working through, and the depth of support you’re seeking. Some clients feel a shift after just one session, while others choose ongoing sessions for continued clarity, growth, and integration.

We can discuss what feels supportive for you during your first session and adjust as you go based on your needs and progress.

  • After your session, give yourself space to slow down and integrate. Many people feel relaxed, reflective, or emotionally lighter, and it can be helpful to avoid rushing back into a busy schedule right away if possible.

Staying hydrated, resting if you feel called to, and journaling any thoughts or insights that come up can all support your integration process. There is nothing you need to “do correctly”—just allow yourself time to notice how you feel and move gently with that awareness.

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee, and missed appointments may be charged in full.

This policy helps honor both your time and mine, as each session is reserved specifically for you.
